National Citizen Survey

The City of North Mankato is pleased to announce that the results of the 2017 National Citizen's Survey are now available. The 2017 survey shows widespread satisfaction in the community: 95% of residents believe North Mankato is a good place to live and 93% believe North Mankato is a good place to raise children.

In the City's continuing efforts to receive valuable input from our residents and to improve customer service, the National Citizen's Survey was conducted beginning in February 2017. The survey was conducted by the National Research Center using the National Citizen's Survey that has been conducted in more than 500 communities throughout the Untied States.

Community Liveability-About nine in ten residents gave excellent or good ratings for the City of North Mankato as a place to raise children and the overall image of North Mankato.

Governance- Eighty-six percent rated the overall quality of City services as excellent or good.

Safety-Almost all residents gave positive ratings to police and fire services.

The City of North Mankato will continue to seek citizen input and respond to the needs of the community while maintaining and improving the quality of services provided by the City.
